Task Decomposer is built local-first. Your tasks stay on your device unless you explicitly use cloud AI features.

What we store locally

Task lists, checklists, focus sessions, and app settings are stored in your browser or device storage. We do not sell your task content.

AI breakdown requests

When you use AI task breakdown, only the task text needed for that request is sent to your configured provider. Your full history is not uploaded by default.

Waitlist email

If you join the waitlist, we store your email to send product updates and install links. You can request removal at support@decomposer.io.

Analytics

We aim to minimize tracking. We do not use your personal task plans for advertising profiles.
